LATAM Airlines Group reported that during the journey, one of the three members of the command crew required immediate medical assistance, leading to the decision to make an emergency landing at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, Panama. Despite the swift response of first responders at the scene, the pilot’s life could not be saved.
