Euromonitor International Ranks Paris as Top City Destination in 2023

Global market research firm Euromonitor International has unveiled its annual rankings of city destinations, highlighting Paris as the most attractive city in the world. Dominated by Europe, the Top 100 City Destinations Index 2023 features seven European cities in the top 10, with a total of 63 spots in the top 100. Notably, Tokyo entered the top 10 for the first time due to improved tourism infrastructure and travel conditions.

The report reflects the ongoing recovery in international travel, projecting a 38% increase in total international trips for 2023, reaching 1.3 billion by year-end. The comprehensive rankings consider over 50 metrics across six pillars, including economic and tourism performance, sustainability, and health and safety.
