Island Routes, the Caribbean-based experiential travel company, has significantly expanded its offerings to now include over 520 day tours. Ahead of the upcoming winter season, the company is set to introduce more than 20 new tours across five different islands.
David Black, Head of Global Sales for Island Routes, highlighted the growing demand for authentic Caribbean exploration. He noted that bookings are on a noteworthy upswing, rivalling the record-breaking numbers seen in 2019 for Caribbean tourism. The tours, led by seasoned local experts, cater to various interests, ranging from spirited adventures and water-based activities to culinary experiences and fine arts. This extensive range of excursions allows guests to deeply engage with the distinct local cultures in the destinations served by Island Routes.
The new tours cover a diverse array of experiences in Barbados, Curacao, St. Lucia, the Bahamas, and Jamaica. Some of the highlights include gastronomic delights in Barbados, challenging obstacle courses coupled with historical experiences, explorations of natural wonders like Harrison’s Cave in Barbados, as well as immersive activities such as catamaran cruises and snorkeling adventures in Curacao and the Bahamas. These excursions offer travelers an opportunity to connect with the rich essence of each island, ensuring a personalized and authentic experience.
