Tanzanian President to Attend 23rd WTTC Global Summit in Kigali

Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan will be one of the prominent attendees at the 23rd Global Summit of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) in Kigali, Rwanda. The event will also feature other Heads of State and a Vice-President. The distinguished list of speakers from WTTC includes notable figures such as Arnold Donald, Greg O’Hara, Gloria Fluxa, Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio, Julie

Shainock, and Matthew Upchurch. Julia Simpson, WTTC President & CEO, commended Rwanda’s dedication to the travel and tourism sector’s resurgence and highlighted the event’s theme, “Building Bridges to a Sustainable Future,” which will focus on the sector’s value to the global economy and the planet’s communities. The summit will bring together industry leaders and international government officials to address the challenges and ensure a safer, more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable Travel & Tourism sector.
