Disney Cruise Line Opens New Terminal at Port Everglades, Florida

Disney Cruise Line (DCL) marks a significant milestone with the inauguration of its dedicated cruise terminal at Port Everglades in Florida. Boasting a vibrant Finding Nemo theme across its 104,000-square foot space, the terminal offers DCL passengers a seamless embarkation experience designed by Walt Disney Imagineering.
The terminal’s opening signifies the commencement of DCL’s most extensive expansion in its cruise line history. Under a 15-year agreement with Broward County, one ship will homeport in Port Everglades year-round starting this fall, with a second seasonal ship joining in 2025.
Sharon Siskie, DCL Senior Vice President, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating that the new terminal provides guests with more opportunities to experience the magic of a Disney vacation at sea.

Disney Dream is set to commence sailings from Port Everglades on November 20, followed by Disney Magic on May 9, 2024. The cruise itineraries will offer a mix of three-, four-, and five-night voyages to tropical destinations in The Bahamas and the Caribbean.
In celebration of Disney’s presence at Port Everglades, the cruise line announced community investments in Junior Achievement South Florida and Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. These donations aim to support various initiatives, including programs fostering career exploration, innovation, and storytelling. Port Everglades CEO Jonathan Daniels looks forward to diversifying the cruise portfolio and reaching a broader audience with Disney Cruise Line’s new dimension to the port experience.
