Avanti Expands Ecuador Options: New Vacations, Hotels, Experiences

Avanti Destinations, a wholesale FIT (Free Independent Travel) tour operator, has expanded its offerings for independent travel clients going to Ecuador. The company has introduced two new customizable vacations, three new hotels, and five new tours and experiences. Avanti specializes in selling custom-crafted independent travel vacations exclusively through travel advisors, rather than directly to consumers.
In collaboration with Visit Ecuador, Avanti has launched a new microsite for advisors to provide comprehensive information and assistance. The company aims to highlight various destinations within Ecuador beyond the popular Galapagos Islands, such as the Ecuadorian Amazon region, historic cities like Quito and Cuenca, the port city of Guayaquil, and the Avenue of the Volcanoes.

Avanti’s offerings cover a total of 15 customizable recommended vacations, 45 three-, four-, and five-star hotels and resorts, and 18 tours and experiences. The new additions include four-star boutique properties, such as a safari camp near a national park, a colonial-era hacienda lodge on the grounds of an Inca palace, and a luxury hotel with spa featuring thermal waters from a nearby volcano.

Paul Barry, CEO of Avanti Destinations, emphasizes the diversity of experiences available in Ecuador, catering to various interests such as wildlife, active travel, indigenous culture, gastronomy, and more. Avanti promotes the idea that Ecuador is worth revisiting, even for those who have already explored the Galapagos Islands.

The new tours and experiences offered by Avanti are private and cover activities like exploring indigenous crafts, gastronomy, and pre-Columbian treasures. Examples include private tours of craft workshops, excursions to hot springs and wildlife reserves, colonial city tours with cooking classes, chocolate tastings, and VIP visits to pre-Columbian art museums.

Avanti’s vacations in Ecuador are fully customizable, allowing travelers to add extra nights, experiences, transfers, and destinations. The two newest Ecuador FIT vacations are “The Other Side of Ecuador,” a seven-day/six-night itinerary covering Bucay, Cuenca, and Guayaquil, and “Ecuador’s Natural Wonders,” a 12-day/11-night journey through Quito, the Amazon region, and a four-night Galapagos Islands cruise.
