Delta Boosts Flights and Seats for College Football Playoff Fans

Delta Air Lines is catering to college football enthusiasts by adding 13 flights and nearly 2,000 seats between December 29 and January 2. The additional service is aimed at fans heading to Los Angeles or New Orleans to witness the top four teams competing for a spot in the College Football Playoff National Championship game. Delta is increasing flights from Detroit and Birmingham to Los Angeles and adding service from Austin and Seattle to New Orleans.

For travelers flying during key games, Delta’s aircraft equipped with live satellite TVs will broadcast the action over the continental United States. Additionally, Delta recently announced a new daily nonstop service from Seattle to Taiwan starting June 6, 2024, pending government approval.
